Three "Enchanting" Holiday Makeup Looks!

The pearl clip is not included.

I once tweeted, "Why am I a sucker for a sale? Like it doesn't even have to be a good sale. I just see that there is one and I'm sold." Sadly, for my wallet this is a true statement. Which is why Black Friday and Cyber Monday are hard days for me to try and resist my urge to shop. Of course, I'm here to report that I failed at doing so, but I have no regrets (although I would like to apologize to my family for buying items that would have made great gifts). During Ulta's Cyber Monday sale I treated myself by purchasing Too Faced Enchanted Wonderland Limited Edition Makeup Collection.

This must have, limited edition makeup set, comes with three small makeup palettes and a deluxe size better than set mascara. Each palette had 6 eye shadows, one blush shade, and a highlighter or bronzer. The entire scent has a maple brown sugar scent meaning it even smells like Christmas. Normally, Too Faced products com with a step-by-step guide to a few cute makeup looks, but this collection did not come with one. I decided that since I didn't get a guide that I would make my own, but with the help of my two little cousins!

Pink Christmas

Too cute!

While babysitting my cute little cousin, we decided to come up with this adorable look using The Flamingo Palette a.k.a. the pinkest one in the set of three. I let her choose all the shades she wanted, and applied them where they best fit. Since she's only six, we wanted the look to be sweet and subtle, but still fun and sparkly!

  1. I applied a soft pink base shade of Break the Ice over her entire lid.

  2. I applied the shade Miss Kringle, a sparkling hot pink, in her crease,

  3. I applied the shimmery mauve shade Turtle Doves to her lids .

  4. I applied blush to her cheeks using the shade Secret Santa.

  5. Of course that wasn't enough pink or shimmer for a Holiday look, so I applied highlight to her cheekbones, nose, and above her brows using the shade Fine Cone.

The end result, of course, was fun, pink, and fabulous!

Dreaming of a Pink Christmas!

Santa Cutie

It's the pearl clips for me.

For my look, I wanted to be as #extra and as glamourous as my outfit! (The full outfit is featured in this blog post :Five Outfits for a Festive and Fabulous Holiday SZN ) In order to achieve this, I felt like The Racoon Palette was the most fitting. I chose shades that flattered my pale skin, but added that bit of sparkle needed for any Holiday makeup look.

  1. After primer and foundation (both Too Faced products, Primed and Poreless and Born This Way Foundation), I applied blush just below my cheekbones using the shade Everything Nice

  2. I, then, applied highlight to my cheekbones, nose, chin, and above the eyebrows using the shade Sleigh Bells to add that necessary glamourous glow.

  3. I applied the light, matte, peach shade Kiss for Santa to my lids.

  4. I applied the shade Nuts 4 Christmas, a sparkling rosy tone, to my crease.

  5. I applied the pearly white shade Let It Snow to my brow bone and inner corner to add bit more highlight.

  6. I added a pop of gold to my lower lash line using the shade Deck The Halls.

  7. No glam holiday look would be complete without a red lip and dramatic lashes, soI finished off the look with fake lashes (Better than Sex Faux Mink Falsie Lashes in Drama Queen) and red lipstick (Rouge Dior 999 Satin)

With this glam look I felt ready to sleigh (sorry, couldn't resist) any holiday party! It was just too bad that on that particular evening I had no where to go!

Santa Cutie, fill my stocking with this palette please!

Golden Rings

Also too cute!

I couldn't create a makeup look for one of my little cousins and not include the other! With her help, we created a look using lots of glitter and fun colors. Since she loves Elsa and Cinderella we chose to use The Deer Palette, the blue one, to create her look. We even added a sparkly, Cinderella approved blue shade to the look.

  1. I started by applying the matte brown shade Ding Dong to her lid.

  2. I applied the shade Baby It's Cold, Cinderella blue, to her crease.

  3. I, then, applied the shade All The Jingle Ladies to her inner corner to add a bit of a golden highlight

  4. I applied blush to her cheeks using the shade Christmas Morning

  5. I finished off the look using the shade Fruit Cake to highlight her cheekbones, nose, and above the brows. (This shade is technically a bronzer, but is lighter than her skin, so it worked to add a bit more shimmer to her look.)

She loved the look because it was sparkly, fun, and made her feel like a real-life princess.

1 Fabulous Makeup Palette!

All three of these looks are perfect for any ugly Christmas sweater party, Christmas dinner, and New Years Eve! This set of three palettes is great because there are endless amounts of Holiday makeup looks you can create and share with your family too!

XOXO,

Kristin
