The Grammys '22 Best Dressed List

Updated: Apr 7, 2022

Remember when I said, "stayed tuned for the rest of the awards season as I award more fabulous fashion," well, that time has come for Grammy's. As a whole I would say that the looks for this year's awards ceremony were interesting. Just like the music industry itself, there were hits and misses, but what I loved to see was that more attendees took fashion risks which made the red carpet more entertaining to watch, and, yes, this time around I actually watched E! Live from the Red Carpet.

The Award for "The Best Naked Dress" Goes to... Paris Hilton

"Loves it."

Is there anything the original influencer can't do? I highly doubt it, but she really knows how to pull off a red carpet look! She is seriously sliving in this gown by Atelier Zuhra. It looks almost as expensive as her net worth as the sheer material is covered silver gemstones. The look was accessorized with silver pumps, silver earrings, her go-to fingerless gloves, and her iconic Barbie ponytail, and, of course, had us all saying, "That's hot."

The Award for "Most Classy and Sassy" Goes to Kelsea Ballerini

Currently googling dupes of this gown.

There are two details I love to see an evening gown, a classic shape and a high slit. When you add a fabulous bow you've created perfection. Kelsea Ballerini looked absolutely stunning in this gown from Raissa Vanessa. It was equal parts classy and sassy, and perfect for any red carpet. In terms of my personal style, it was my favorite of the night, so please don't judge when you see me wearing something similar probably in 5-7 business days.

The Award for "The Most Iconic" Goes to... Dua Lipa

She simply can do no wrong.

Dua Lipa never disappoints with her red carpet looks. I seriously mean never! what makes this one even more iconic is the fact that it was based off a look that Donatella Versace wore herself. Everything about this is perfect especially the gold accessories and the sheer detailing. This is mere proof that Dua Lipa along with Versace will always be the perfect combination that we never knew we needed.

The Award for "The Best Off the Runway Look" Goes to Saweetie

Proof that Saweetie needs to be in the next Valentino show.

I actually screamed when I saw Saweetie wearing this look on the red carpet. For those of you who follow this blog, you know that Fashion Month is my favorite time of year, and that the Valentino show was one of my favorites from this past season. Seeing Saweetie wearing one of my favorite looks from that show instantly boosted my serotonin levels. I love everything about this from the gown being two pieces, the cute little bow detail, and the glamorous pink gloves. Saweetie looked fresh off the runway and perfect for the red carpet.

The Award for "Always the Style Icon" Goes to Billy Porter

Always the moment.

Anytime Billy Porter steps on the red carpet, you know he's going to be a perfect 10! Especially when he's wearing this pink Valentino look. Also from the last season. The sheer ruffles with the long flowy back made him look the most high fashion of the night. I also loved his purple lipstick and gold shoes. It was the perfect finishing touch.

The Award for "The Most Romantic Look" Goes to Rachel Zegler

She's already channeling Snow White and we love to see it!

Rachel Zegler looked like a literal princess in this custom gown from Dior and jewelry from Tiffany and Co. (Makes sense since she's currently filming for the latest adaptation of Snow White.) The combination of the A line shape, the off-the-shoulder detail, and the delicate took made for a dress that had an elegant and romantic feel. Her look was equal parts simple and stunning and perfect for the Grammys.

The Award for "The Most Pretty in Pink" Goes to Chrissy Teigan

"Can we hear some commotion for the dress?"

Chrissy Teigan never fails to wow the crowd, but this Nicole + Felicia Couture dress was next level. The bubble gum pink color, the ruffles, and the volume of this dress was seriously stunning. I loved how her accessories were minimal with just a pair of silver chandelier earrings, so her dress could really be the moment.

The Award for "the Best Dressed, Hands Down" Goes to Doja Cat

This is the kind of look I expect to see at the Grammys. This Atelier Versace Gown was simply perfection on Doja Cat. the silhouette was classic and flattering, and I loved the asymmetry with having one shoulder on and one shoulder off. I also love that the fabric was sheer because it added a sexiness to an otherwise classic look. The color was the perfect complement to her skintone. Doja Cat may be taking a break from music, but what I hope is that she won't be taking a break from iconic fashion looks like this one.

So, there you have another best dressed list! As a reminder, these were all my personal opinion, so feel free to comment any other stand out looks below!

XOXO,

Kristin
