PSA: You Can Buy the Exact Lipstick Audrey Hepburn Wore in Breakfast at Tiffany's!

Well, Supposedly.

A girl can't read this post without her lipstick!

When searching for a gift for another Audrey Hepburn obsessed friend of mine, I decided on getting her a Breakfast at Tiffany's themed gift box. This included a sleep mask, cute earrings, and a few other cute pieces. I felt like something was missing and decided lipstick would be the perfect fit. This inspired a Google search for "what lipstick did Audrey Hepburn wear?" I wasn't expecting to find anything too specific, and, truthfully, was looking to find out if she was a bold red or neutral lip kind of girl. To my surprise, I found the exact shade (allegedly) she wore in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

"A girl can't read that sort of thing without her lipstick."- Holly Golightly

Towards the end of the movie Hepburn's character Holly Golightly is riding in a cab with Paul Varjack and puts a neutral pink shade of lipstick on. Yes, this is the scene where she says, "A girl can't read that sort of thing without her lipstick." This shade is said to be the shade Pink in the Afternoon by Revlon. According to the sources I found, some say this is the exact one while others say it's the closest existing shade. I'm choosing to believe the former of course!

The only thing that could make this better is if this little blue box was actually from Tiffany's!

The best thing about this lipstick is not only the fact that you can buy it, but it's also affordable. For only $8.49 at Ulta Beauty you too can own this Audrey approved lipstick shade. I ended up buying one for my friend and for myself! I think this lipstick will be my go-to neutral for a while because any shade that has been famous since 1961 isn't going out of style anytime soon!
