My NYC Bucket List

The look of someone who thought her life in NYC was still just beginning.

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the day I suddenly left NYC, and found myself back in the sunshine state. As a more optimistic person, I had only packed a week's worth a clothing, half of my makeup, some toiletries, and a singular hair tie. Well, obviously, my stay did not go as predicated, and I had to kiss goodbye to NYC. Though I've been back in my hometown for a year, I still believe New York is where I belong. While an official return date is still TBD, I am hopeful that day will come soon.

When I lived in NYC, I had this ever-growing list of things I wanted to do. While I was good about crossing some items off the list, there were some that I didn't get to do, so when I go back I plan on living my life even more to the fullest, and plan on crossing them all off. So I present, my NYC Bucket List...

  • Go on a tour of all the famous Gossip Girl locations- This, of course, would start on the Met steps

  • Go on a tour of all the famous Sex and the City locations- In a tulle skirt of course!

  • Have Breakfast at Tiffany's- Both the Holly Golightly way and at the Blue Box Café.

  • Be an extra on any of the many tv shows that film in the city- Just for a day.

  • Rooftop bar crawl in the summer- I'm pretty sure this is a right of passage.

  • See a concert at The Today Show- Any members of One Direction would be preferred.

  • Buy a pair of heels from The SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker Boutique- Preferably the cute pumps that say "Hello Lover".

  • Create the perfect red lipstick at Lip Lab by by Bite Beauty- You know how much I love a red lip.

  • Spend an entire day at the Bloomingdale's Flagship- With 9 floors of shopping, restaurants, and many different beauty experiences this is entirely possible. (You can also spend a day at Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom's and Macy's.)

  • Have a staycation at The Plaza- Name a hotel more iconic.

  • Take a heels class at Broadway Dance Center- *cue Beyoncé.

  • Take a hot tub boat tour by the Sea NYC- You basically just sit in a hot tub a look at the New York skyline.

  • Go to the top of the Empire State Building- I know this one is basic, but I've never done it.

  • Go to a Yankees game, catch a foul ball, have the new Yankee sign it, and then boldly ask him out- #IYKYK

  • Produce many fashion shows and events for NYFW!- The dream.

Honestly, this list is just a few things, I want to do. I am truly obsessed with this city and if I were to write my entire bucket list, it would never end. Hopefully, I'll be crossing these items off soon. In the meantime, comment something you've always wanted to do or see in NYC!

XOXO,

Kristin
