In my dream life, I have a huge walk-in closet with an insane amount of designer shoes. Sadly, I'm not yet living that life. So, while most of my shoes are bought on sale from Shoedazzle and JustFab, it doesn't stop me from splurging on a higher end pair every now and then. Especially when there's a pair of Steve Madden booties that have my name written all over them.
Okay, so they're actually called "Edita Rhinestone Embellished Patent Block Heel Booties", but they might as well be named Kristin because they are basically my sense of style captured in one pair of shoes. The black patent block heel bootie is classic. It's a style that will truly never be out. It's also a chic look that you can pair with anything. The embellishments, however, add a sparkling girly twist to a classic silhouette. These booties can be a nice complement to any outfit, but they're so fab that they can also be the statement piece.
Here you can see I paired them with a black wrap tee with puffed sleeve, straight leg distressed jean in a pale denim, and accessorized with rhinestone bobby pins, earrings, and a Kendra Scott necklace. I wanted everything I wore to be a complement to the booties, so the shoe could steal the show. I truly think these shows can go with just about everything though! You could easily pair them with a skirt and t-shirt, a casual mini or midi dress, and, when in doubt, like I did here, jeans and a cute top. Regardless of what you wear them with you'll be drowning in compliments and looking #extra fabulous!
