#Extra Last Minute Halloween Costumes: Carrie Bradshaw

I started to wonder... could I look as fabulous as Carrie this Halloween?
My next and, in my opinion, obvious choice for Halloween costumes is Carrie Bradshaw. Even today, she is considered to be one of television's most fabulous fashionistas. Plus she basically created the term #Extra with her bold and out there outfit choices. It was pretty easy for me to recreate a couple of her iconic looks because I already have bought pieces inspired by her wardrobe on Sex and the City. The only problem I really had was just narrowing it down to two looks.
The Most Iconic Theme Song Outfit to Ever Exist
If you've seen Sex and the City, you knew this look was coming as soon as the title of this post said Carrie Bradshaw.
The 'Fit
Pink Bodysuit or Tank Top
White Tulle Skirt
Gold Strappy Heels
A Gold Necklace with Your Name or Initial (Your name is preferable, but I only had an initial one to make do with)
A Little Stealing My Boyfriend's Wardrobe Moment
Carrie knew how to do more than just steal a shirt from her man. She knew how to style it too! This look from the show has become another one of her most iconic looks, even having many celebrities recreate it.
The 'Fit
An Oversized, White Button Up Shirt or Dress (I opted for an off-the shoulder dress, but with an oversized one you can easily pull in slightly off your shoulders.)
A brown belt (The more manly the better)
Nude Heels (100% necessary. They simply tie the look together.)
Complementing Both Looks
Because Carrie was usually pretty natural with her hair and makeup, I did the same beauty looks for both costumes.
A Natural Eye Shadow Look
Black Mascara or False Lashes
Black Eyeliner Pencil or Black Eyeshadow to Line Both the Upper and Lower Lash Lines
A Little Bit of Blush
A Neutral Lipstick
Curly Hair Preferably Parted Down the Middle
