The perfect costume with those with a passion for fashion
I think it's safe to say that the really style icons of Y2K were Bratz Dolls. Those dolls pulled off the trends that the rest of us were failing at. I was truly obsessed with them (well, until my My Scene obsession took over). I was even one for Halloween in the first grade. So, now that Y2K trends are back, and, thankfully, better than ever, it's the perfect time to channel your inner Bratz Doll for the holiday.
Angel Bratz

With a blue plaid moment this outfit is most reminiscent of Chloe aka Angel, and so fun to throw together.
The 'Fit
Blue Plaid Skirt
White Corset
Black Faux Fur Coat
White and Black Platform Booties (Shoutout to my sister for the loan!)
Multicolored Dangly Earrings
Completing The Look
Bratz Dolls always have bold makeup, and #extra hairstyles that are fun to recreate.
A Bright Colored Eye Shadow Look (Bratz makeup is typically very matchy-matchy with their clothes, so blue would be best in this instance, but I went with purple instead.)
White Liner or Eyeshadow on the Lower Lash Line (Makes the eyes look bigger and more doll-like.)
Black Liner for Bold Wings and to Line the Upper and Lower Lashes
False Lashes
Black Mascara or Individual Lashes for the Lower Lashes
Neutral Lip Liner to Make Lips Look Fuller
Neutral Lipstick
Lip Plumping Gloss (I mean, have you seen the lips on these dolls? Kylie Jenner could never.)
Blush for Underneath the Cheekbones
Highlighter for a Bit of Glow
Hair Half-Up Half-Down with Two High Pigtails
Pretty Princess Bratz

So Yasmin is known as the "Pretty Princess" Brat, but to be honest I have no idea whether or not this outfit emulates any of her looks. (Sorry y'all. Chloe was always my fave.) I just picked her because her nickname is my favorite. However, this very generic Bratz look will still make a fabulous costume.
The 'Fit
Black and White Plaid Skirt
Black Turtleneck Top
Pink Faux Fur Vest
Black Belt
Black Patterned Tights
Black Combat Boots
Gold and Glass Dangly Earrings
Completing the Look
Once again the makeup is the same, so we have another copy and paste moment.
A Bright Colored Eye Shadow Look (Pink or a even a smoky eye would have been best hear, but I kept the purple.)
Hair Half-Up Half-Down with Two Space Buns
XOXO,
Kristin
