31 Days of Outfits

Updated: Jan 2, 2023

Because 30 simply wasn't enough the first time....

Well, it's been a minute since I've posted on here, and I thought the best way to get back into it was an outfit challenge, of course! For the entire month of December, I plan on posting an outfit a day. This time around, there's no specific them for each day. However, I am challenging, myself to never wear the same outfit twice.

Now, I present 31 Days of Outfits...

Day 1

While this is most definitely an athleisure 'fit, I feel like 'that girl" every time I wear it. This set from Alo Yoga always receives compliments and is so comfortable! Especially, on a day of teaching several dance classes!

Day 2

Another day, another activewear set. When you spend a majority of your time teaching dance, this is to be expected. This top and leggings from Alo Yoga are some of my favorite go-to pieces. I mean, how adorable is this shade of blue?

Day 3

When it comes to a day at Disney, a cute and comfy 'fit is a must! This set from Fabletics is one of my favorites. I loved how it made me feel ready for a safari at Animal Kingdom, but also made me want to strut around Epcot!

Day 4

It's one of my personal goals to always be the most overdressed at every family function. I succeeded once again even in this more casual outfit. (Well, my version of casual at least.) While the rest of my family opted for comfy athleisure to decorate gingerbread houses, I chose this chic cropped turtleneck, and high-waisted jeans.

Day 5

I'm calling this one, "Another Outfit that Makes Me Look Cooler than I Actually Am." I just got this tank and these joggers from Free People Movement and it's safe to say they will soon be a part of my regular rotation.

Day 6

This athleisure set from Alo Yoga (can you tell I'm obsessed?) might be my favorite of all time! I feel so chic and put together even though I'm basically still wearing leggings and a sports bra. However, the mesh details in the corset and the slit in the leggings are exactly what is needed to elevate what would otherwise be a very basic look.

Day 7

"On Wednesday's we wear pink" and have mini try on hauls. I recently bought these faux leather pants from Abercrombie and was dying to finally try them on! Unsurprisingly, I'm obsessed! I paired it with this cute, pink top from Alo Yoga for a look that I'm calling Barbie... but, make it edgy.

Day 8

Attending a dance concert calls for jeans, a nice top, and sky-high heels. I just bought this corset top from Astr the Label on Black Friday and had been waiting for the perfect moment to wear it! I paired it with my favorite jeans from Levi's and my knockoff Versace pumps. (Amazon has some great dupes out there.) After I put this on, I came to the realization that it was a bit too fabulous to simply sit on the audience, but I decided to rock it anyways.

Day 9

The ninth day of outfits called for another cute and cozy set. I've been obsessed with velour since my first Juicy Couture phase in 2008, (I'm in my second phase at the moment.) so when I saw this pink velour set on Revolve, I just had to have it. It was the perfect outfit for this day because I wanted to look fashionable without having to try to hard, and it's safe to say I nailed it!

Day 10

Every year, I make it my goal to be the most overdressed at the dance studio Holiday party. (Of course, it's a goal that I easily achieve.) This year, I wanted to go more over the top than ever! My matching set was from the Camila Coelho collection and was perfect for the holidays being that it was green and had rhinestones. I felt so glamorous and ready for more Christmas festivities!

Day 11

Sunday's call for athleisure or loungewear. Obviously, today I went with the athleisure. I'm currently into flare leggings and wanted to pair it with this open back Free People tank. While this 'fit is simple it still felt like a moment.

Day 12

Honestly, it's giving Santa, but in a good way! I love to wear this velour set from Fabletics, especially, around the Holidays. I felt so festive! Also peep the Santa socks.

Day 13

Another day, another festive 'fit! I wore a red turtleneck with black cargo joggers, and another pair of Christmas socks. (These had Rudolph on them, of course!)

Day 14

Some days call for channeling your inner Bratz doll, and that's exactly what today was! These cute Steve Madden boots were a Black Friday treat from me to me, and I was saving them for the perfect fit, which happened to be this matching vegan leather set from Fabletics and this sweater vest from Belk. This outfit really showed off my "passion for fashion" #IYKYK

Day 15

Whoever said you don't need to dress cute to travel was seriously disturbed. For my road trip fit, I felt like an oversized graphic tee, black leggings, and platform sneakers was the move. (Seriously, no pun intended.)

Day 16

When at a dance competition, one must dress to support her students, but this doesn't mean it can't be a moment. I paired all of my BTSD merch with cute cargo joggers from Fabletics, and felt just as fashion forward as I do on any other day. Also, all my dancers killed at their first comp of the season!

Day 17

Getting to dress up while at a dance convention is very rare, so when it can actually happen, you have to take full advantage. In this case, that means jeans and a nice top. I love off-the-shoulder tops, but also love playing around with more high fashion moments which is why this asymmetrical bodysuit from Privacy Please is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. It just elevates any look!

Day 18

After a long weekend away, I was ready to put on some comfy loungewear and relax. This cute set from Whitefox Boutique is one of my favorites, and a go-to whenever I just want to have a movie night at home. With Christmas officially being a week away I had to pair it with some Christmas socks.

Day 19

The first official day of Christmas break calls for binging Too Hot To Handle and wearing a vv casual outfit. Well, my version of casual which is jeans and a crop top, but still a full face of makeup and a trendy hairstyle.

Day 20

Finally, my leather pants make a public appearance. I wore my Abercrombie leather pants and a cropped turtleneck to go Christmas shopping. Now, it was actually cold (at least by Florida standards), so while I felt like a style icon, I was most definitely freezing. Sometimes, you have to in the name of Fashion!

Day 21

Today was the premiere of Emily in Paris season three, and I think that's all I really need to say about this outfit.

Day 22

My holiday manicure was the real star of this 'fit! However, I did enjoy putting together this casual outfit! Though it was simple, the gather detailing on the side of the top, the platform sneakers, and the leather jacket made it look much more elevated.

Day 23

There are some days where you have the perfect outfit planned, but the weather calls for something else. That's exactly what happened at my family's holiday party. Due to Florida deciding it actually wanted to participate in winter this year, the green, cropped blazer set I had planned would not work. However, thanks to my shopping addiction, I had the perfect back-up. Seriously, this red blazer and platform heels practically scream, "Christmas!"

Day 24

Yes, this is a repeat outfit from the Holidays last year, but I almost bought the same outfit in cream. For the sake of my fair skin and my bank account, I decided it was better just to wear this one, and it worked out perfectly! The sequin skirt combined with a classic turtleneck was the perfect amount of glam for Christmas Eve!

Day 25

My family can always count on me to be the most overdressed at every function, especially Christmas! This year, I wanted a look that was preppy and put together. Wen I found this green, tweed blazer dress from Majorelle, I knew I had found a winner. After paring it with embellished platform heels and classic red lip, I felt like I was a star on Gossip Girl which is all want (for Christmas)! Merry Christmas, XOXO

Day 26

Since it was the day after Christmas, I was still in the mood to be glamorous, but also wanted to be cozy. Obviously that meant the only thing I could wear was my Juicy Couture tracksuit.

Day 27

I worked almost every day over the Holidays, and today was no exception. Working in a boutique fitness studio obviously requires wearing activewear, but that doesn't mean it can't be a moment. As a matter of fact, I got so many compliments wearing this matching set from Alo Yoga!

Day 28

Now that I'm nearing the end of this challenge, I've started putting together some #extra outfits to end the year with a bang. So, no, this Christopher Palu tee and these combat boots didn't make a public appearance, but they certaintly made an impression on social media.

Day 29

I originally put together this outfit for a TikTok I made about London Fashion Week, and it became one of my favorites! Obviously, it had to be a standout 'fit in this challenge!

Day 30

This two piece set from Camila Coelho Collection is one of my favorite of all time! It makes me feel like a modern day Disney Princess, so it had to make its way into the challenge. In fact, it was almost worthy of being the grand finale, but...

Day 31

My NYE outfit. That's It. That's the 'fit.

Well, there you have it. 31 outfits in 31 days. To see more of the challenge you can look at my Instagram @kristin_byrd or my TikTok at @extralikekristin
